What you get

Built for how shops work.

Multi-store dashboard

See all your stores at a glance. Move staff between them when someone calls in sick. On the Roster plan, up to 3 stores; more on Team and Business.

Peak-period scheduling

Set extra staffing for Black Friday, Boxing Day and sale days, and Rosie fills it from who is free.

Part-time flexibility

Mix full-timers, part-timers, and casuals. Rosie respects max hours and availability for everyone.

Wage cost as you roster

See the wage bill as you build, before you publish. It is an estimate at base pay rates; weekend and public holiday rates are in the reports. On the Team plan and up.

Template rosters

Build your usual week once and reuse it every week. Set different staffing for holidays and special events.

Compliance built in

Rest between shifts, maximum hours and days in a row, kept to when Rosie writes the roster. Custom break rules are on the Business plan.

In practice

The situations that cost you a morning.

  • Boxing Day staffing

Your biggest trading day of the year is coming up. You need double the staff across three stores, half of them are casuals who each have different availability.

With Rosie: Rosie pulls in everyone's availability, respects max hours, and writes the roster across all your stores. You check it and publish.

  • The multi-store shuffle

Store B is short a keyholder for Saturday, but Store A has one spare. You need to move someone across without breaking either roster.

With Rosie: Rosie lists who is free across all your stores. Move the shift, and both rosters show the change.

  • Casual availability chaos

You've got 15 casuals who each work different days. Tracking who's free this week via text messages is a full-time job.

With Rosie: On the Team plan and up, staff set their own availability in the app, and Rosie only rosters them when they are free. Far less texting back and forth.

Straight answers

Questions from shops.

  • Can I manage multiple stores from one account?

Yes. Every store is a location in Rosie. You see all of them in one dashboard, move staff between stores, and manage rosters for each independently or together. On the Roster plan, up to 3 stores; more on Team and Business.

  • How does it handle part-timers and casuals?

Each staff member has their own max hours, availability, and employment type. Rosie keeps to all of it when auto-filling: a casual with 20 max hours won't get rostered for 35.

  • Can I create template rosters?

Yes. Build your usual week once, save it as a template, and reuse it whenever you want. Change it for holidays, sales or the seasons.

  • What about seasonal staff who only work for a few months?

Add them to Rosie with their start and end dates. They'll appear as available during their contract period and won't clutter your roster outside of it.

  • Does Rosie handle break and rest period rules?

Yes. Set the minimum rest between shifts and the most days in a row each person can work, and auto-fill keeps to them. With a limit of six days, nobody is auto-rostered for a seventh. Custom break rules are on the Business plan.

  • Is there a free trial?

Yes. Every plan is free for 30 days, with no card needed, and you can change plan during the trial.
