Straight answers
Questions from gyms and studios.
Can Rosie handle both classes and regular shifts?
Yes. A yoga class at 6am and a reception shift at 9am are both just shifts in Rosie. You can mix class-based scheduling with regular shift-based scheduling for your whole team.
How does instructor qualification matching work?
Set up specialties as roles, such as Yoga, Spin, PT or Pilates. When auto-filling, Rosie only assigns instructors to classes for roles they hold.
What about seasonal staffing changes?
Add casual instructors during busy periods, set their contract dates, and they'll only appear as available during that window. To scale down, set an end date or remove them.
Can multiple studios share the same schedule?
Each studio or location has its own roster in Rosie. You see all of them in one dashboard and can move staff between locations when needed. On the Roster plan, up to 3 locations; more on Team and Business.
Do instructors get notified of schedule changes?
Yes, on the Team plan and up. When you publish or change the roster, the staff affected get a notification in the Rosie app. No more "I didn't see the update".
